"When I bought the HeatTrak mats I was not worried about snow, but I was worried about frost lift.
I have a lift problem with my garage door and main door where it deforms enough and lifts enough that I can't get out of the doors.
My alternative was to have the concrete dug up and replace the footers and concrete all around doors. Which would come out to about $6,000 when all done.
Buying the mats seems like a no-brainer. They work perfectly and they kept the ground warm enough through some very cold days and we no lift problem at all. Also, I did not have to run them all the time, just had to keep the concrete above freezing. Thanks!"
