Connecting the mats is easy. Simply align the prong and socket sequence to ensure a watertight connection. Once connected, slip the gray locking sleeve in place for additional compression on the watertight seal. And just like that, you've created your own snow & ice melting system for stairs. hover

Electric mats daisy chain together, up to 14 amps, to create a custom snow removal system. You'll need one mat for each step. Simply connect the mats together to activate the power of your custom snow melting system. The mats connect to a Power Unit, and the Power Unit connects to your outside 120V electrical socket. A light tester at the end of the chain of mats ensures your mats are connected and working properly.

The HeatTrak Snow Melting System is watertight. The Gray Locking Sleeve provides added compression on the connection to ensure it's watertight. The clear blue light tester ensures that all mats within the chain of connected mats are properly connected. The light is a visual indicator that the mats are on and working.

All mats come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
The snow melting mats for stairs can be easily cleaned with a mild dish detergent and soft scrub brush to remove dirt, salt, or any other debris.
HeatTrak mats are for snow melting only. Never cover mats. Do not use indoors. Do not use inside pet houses or enclosures.
